Join OMH for our December Field Trip to The Discovery Center (Springfield).

The Discovery Center provides a wide range of educational exhibits and programs in both formal and informal formats. Discovery Center has something for everyone: families, school groups, adults, and children. They provide a playground of hands-on, interactive exhibits that elicit a surprising, delightful, and inspiring educational experience to make learning science, technology, engineering, and math more accessible and relevant to everyday life.

Field Trip: Includes a standard-based 30 minute program in a private instruction room during a class field trip to the Discovery Center, taught by a DCS STEM Instructor.

Field Trip Pricing & Class

Field trip admission is charged for all students and adults visiting with our group. This includes students, siblings, teachers, parents, and chaperones.

• Admission: $9/ person
• 30-minute program: $3/ per student

Discovery Program - Force & Motion

Investigate the principles of force and motion through engaging experiments. Durung this 30 minute lesson you'll learn how different forces affect the movement of objects.
